About Dr. Reed

Dr. Alan Reed received his undergraduate degree from Wichita State University. He attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he received several academic honors. These included Outstanding Student for Pediatric Dentistry, Alumni Association Award for Scholarship and Professional Development, and the American Association of Orthodontists Student Award. He was also a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Fraternity.
Dr. Reed continued his dental education at Baylor College of Dentistry. He completed a residency program to become a specialist in orthodontics and received a Master of Science degree. He continues to study and train, staying current on the latest developments in the field of orthodontics.
Dr. Reed is a member and past president of the Salina Dental Society, The Kansas State Association of Orthodontists, and the Baylor Orthodontic Alumni Association. He participates in the Kansas Mission of Mercy Free Dental Clinic. Dr. Reed helped to organize the Salina mission that gave away over 1 million dollars of dentistry. He is a member of the Salina Chamber of Commerce and Salina Ambucs.
Dr. Alan Reed is married to Cindy, who is also an orthodontist. While they each have their own orthodontic practices, they enjoy family time together with their 2 sons, Jim and Tom.
